Had a mild panic last night when realised that the red wine storage plan had failed. Off to Waitrose and found this little treasure!
One of the few Brazilian wines that I’ve ever tried, and definitely one to try and try again….
Not only did it drink well as an aperitif – soft, fruity, low on tannins but full of flavour – but it also drank well alongside a lovely piece of fillet steak :-).

This was a pleasant a surprise! A Shiraz-Cabernet that’s exclusive to Waitrose, and only £4.99. Incredibly spicy on the nose, with a red and black fruit mix, this was an easy drinker and actually rather pleasant!
